February's Holiday and In-Service Day Camps

In February, there’s a lot to celebrate. Valentine’s Day, Presidents Day weekend and a longer month this year with 29 days. And kids are celebrating a couple days off school. 

The District offers fun and enriching experiences for kids through a variety of holiday camps.

No School Nature Camp: Presidents Day

Mon, Feb 15, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, South Platte Park

Ages 6 – 10, Delight in a full day adventure packed with nature encounters. Different activities each day include nature play, finding wildlife, hiking and warm-up indoors with games and crafts. Price: $29 Resident, $39 Nonresident.

 

Presidents Day Art Workshop

Mon, Feb 15, 9 am – 12 pm, Goodson Recreation Center

Ages 6 – 12, Create multi-media art projects with spring themes on your morning off from school. For more information, contact Chris Allison at CAllison@ssprd.org. Price: $20 Resident, $ 23 Nonresident.

 

In-Service Adventure Camp

Friday, Feb. 12; and Mon, Feb. 16, 7 am – 6 pm Family Sports Center
