What's Happening this Easter in South Suburban

Looking for things to do in South Suburban this Easter holiday? Check out what we've got going on, including a free egg scramble and our holiday hours.

Activities

FREE Family Sports Egg Scramble
Ready, set, go! The field inside the Family Sports Dome will be covered with colorful eggs for kids to collect. Each age group will have a chance to search the course. Find the golden egg and receive the grand prize! And afterward, kids can burn off a few jelly beans with the bungee run and fitness van activities. Participants need to bring a basket, free of artificial grass or straw, to collect eggs.
Who: Ages 12 and under
Where: Sports Dome
When: 8:30 - 11 am (Sat, Apr 15). Wave times are:

  • 9 am (ages 3 and under)
  • 9:30 am (ages 4 - 6)
  • 10 am (ages 7 - 9)
  • 10:30 am (ages 10 - 12)

Price: Free; no registration necessary.

Facility Hours

Closed facilities

On Easter Sunday, April 16, all four of our recreation centers, Buck, Goodson, Lone Tree and Sheridan, will be closed.  In addition, the Family Sports Center, Family Sports Ice Arena, and South Suburban Ice Arena will be closed to the public.

Open facilities

The following facilities will be open on Easter, weather permitting.

All four of our golf courses, Family Sports Golf Course, Littleton Golf Course, Lone Tree Golf Course and South Suburban Golf Course will be open for regular course hours. The Family Sports driving range and mini golf course will both be open 10 am - 9 pm.

Colorado Journey Miniature Golf Course will be open 10 am - 9 pm and the Cornerstone Batting Cage will be open 12 - 8 pm.
