Vinyl Graphic: Ram in Grass New Mural at Goodson
The South Suburban Public Art Committee (PAC) teamed up last fall with the Public Art Collective, an organization that partners with professional working artists whose goal is to spread public art using vinyl art on unlikely surfaces indoors and outdoors (transformers and traffic control cabinets), brick, and drywall, sidewalks, etc. where they can last 7 - 10 years.
This piece is in line with South Suburban's goal to offer overall enjoyment of art in public spaces. Darcie LaScala, Arts and Entertainment Manager, the Public Art Collective, and PAC decided the wall (formerly a bulletin board) outside the Registration Office at Goodson would be ideal for the vinyl graphic, Ram in the Grass, by John Vogl. And while you are there, register for some classes.
