3 Places to Hunt Eggs in South Suburban in 2015

Grab your basket and whisk throughout South Suburban in search of eggs this Friday and Saturday. We're hosting three hunts with family-friendly activities across the District.
Update (4/3/15 12:30 pm) - The course is clear and the event is on as scheduled!
The first scramble of the weekend will be across Colorado Journey's two, 18-hole courses. The event is for children up to 13 years old. Each age group will have a chance to search the course. Along with the thrill of the hunt, there will also be plenty of candy and prizes. Arrive at 5:15 pm for a chance to take photos with the Spring Bunny!
When: Friday, April 3 at 5:30 pm
- 5:30 pm - Ages 2 and under
- 6:00 pm - Ages 3-4
- 7:00 pm - Ages 5-8
- 8:00 pm - Ages 9-13
Price: $3.00 cash per child.
Ready, set, go! The field inside the Family Sports Dome will be covered with colorful eggs for kids up to 12 years old to collect. Each age group will have a chance to search the course. And afterwards, kids can burn off a few jelly beans in the on-site bouncy castle or at the South Suburban fitness van station. The event and will be held rain or shine.
When: Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 8:30 - 11 am
- 9:00 am - Ages 3 and under
- 9:30 am - Ages 4-6
- 10:00 am - Ages 7-9
- 10:30 am - Ages 10-12
The event is sponsored by the radio station, Jammin' 101.5
This afternoon hunt will take place in the Sheridan Community Park, which is next to the recreation center. Children up to 10 years old can search across the park for eggs and afterwards, they can enjoy arts and crafts. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held inside the Sheridan Recreation Center.
When: Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 1:30 pm
Registration is not necessary for any of the hunts. Participants should bring their own baskets to collect eggs.
