South Suburban Public Input

In providing the best in parks and recreation, South Suburban's public input process includes feedback from the community regarding the building or improvement of new parks and facilities.

Bear Creek Trail & Mary Carter Greenway Studies

South Suburban prioritizes healthy living in our parks, trails, sport and recreation facilities. In an effort to provide the best in parks and recreation, we are asking the public for what you envision for the Bear Creek Trail and Mary Carter Greenway.

The goal is to learn how you use these trails and where improvements can be made.
  • Bear Creek Trail connects to the Mary Carter Greenway at River Point in Sheridan. From there, it winds west through Denver neighborhoods and on to endless recreation opportunities into the foothills.

  • Mary Carter Greenway offers access to parks and playgrounds, a nature center, shopping, dining and much more.

Your input matters to ensure that it is safe, comfortable and has the capacity to provide the amenities trail users desire. Get involved - drop a pin and leave a comment on the map.

Place your cursor on any location where you think there’s an opportunity for improvement. Ideas include:

• Connections or easier access
• Safety concerns
• Locations for more amenities – like seating areas

• Bottleneck or pinch point areas
