Disc Golf Course is closed. Plans to relocate it are underway.

South Suburban is building a regional recreation complex at the former site of the disc golf course at David. A. Lorenz Regional Park. Construction of the new facility began in mid-April 2019. For this reason, the disc golf course and adjacent RC Track permanently closed on April 15, 2019. See below for an update on plans to relocate the disc golf course.

Update on South Suburban Disc Golf Course Relocation

On October 10, 2018, South Suburban Parks and Recreation Board of Directors directed staff to partner with Highlands Ranch Metro District to construct an 18-hole disc golf course at the West Fork Open Space in Highlands Ranch. West Fork Open Space is located west of South Broadway between Plaza Drive and Highlands Ranch Parkway.

While we are moving forward with the partnership, the project has not been officially approved. Pending final approvals, Highlands Ranch Metro District would lead the design and construction of the new course, which would tentatively open in summer 2020.

South Suburban is excited about this partnership with Highlands Ranch Metro District to provide a quality 18-hole course in the south metro area. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
