Douglas H. Buck Community Center

This 54,000 square foot recreation center built in 2005 is filled with activities to accommodate multiple generations and therapeutic recreation. It is within a few blocks of the Littleton light-rail station, old town Littleton, and the historic Littleton court house.

Whether you're looking to get in a few laps, take an aquatics fitness class, relax in the hot tub, or have fun with the kids, the Douglas H. Buck Recreation Center is the perfect place – no matter the conditions outside. The pool area features:

Child care / day camps

Day camps
No school? No worries! We offer a variety of specialty camps and licensed day camps during summer, fall, winter and spring breaks and during most holidays and in-service days.

Drop-in babysitting
Get a workout in, worry free. Pay by the hour or purchase a multi-hour punch card or pass. Our staff of child care attendants provide a safe and caring environment for kids ages 3 months to 9 years.

South Suburban Therapeutic Adaptive Recreation (STAR)

Buck Recreation Center is the home of our therapeutic and adaptive recreation department. STAR's mission is to enhance opportunities for individuals with disabilities to participate in leisure services through inclusion and specially designed programs.

STAR offers a variety of classes, programs and events. Get a sneak peak of what's coming up this year, in the Spring/Summer 2015 STAR Connection.


Daily admission and passes include pool, gym, weight room, cardio and circuit equipment, track, and drop-in fitness classes. Specialty classes (e.g. martial arts, Tai Chi, weight training and swim lessons) are available for an additional fee.
