County Line BMX Track

Located in David A. Lorenz Regional Park, County Line BMX is one of the only tracks in south metro Denver. If you love BMX racing, this is the place for you. The track was completely redesigned in January 2020. The track is closed to the public on non-race days. Races take place on Sundays throughout the season. All ages can participate in the sport, and everyone is welcome. So come experience the thrill of BMX racing.

Public Riding

County Line BMX is not open to the public outside of scheduled programming. We have gate practice on Thursday, youth camps Mondays and Tuesdays, and racing on Sundays.

Gate Practice

Weather permitting, we have gate practice every Thursday during the BMX season (April-October), from 5:00pm-7:00pm. This is open to the public and the cost is $5 per practice, bike helmets are required.

Racing & Track Schedule

ALL ages and abilities welcome. We have riders ages 3 years and 60 years and EVERYTHING in between!

Key information

  • All ages and ability levels welcome.
  • USA BMX membership required: $1/one day; $60/annual; Can be purchased at track on race days.
  • Full face helmet, long sleeves, pants and enclosed shoes are required attire for racing.
  • Bicycle: any type and size will do, but it is recommended that you start with one that has no more than a 20" wheel diameter. Make sure all bolts are tight (especially axle and stem bolts). Remove any freestyle type axle pegs. Remove all reflectors/brackets and the kickstand.  You will eventually need a hard plastic number plate. You will be provided a temporary number plate with your membership purchase.

Directions (from C-470 West)

  • Exit C-470 W at University Blvd, heading North.
  • Turn Right on to County Line Rd.  
  • Turn Right on to Colorado Blvd.
  • At the first light on Colorado Blvd, turn Left into David A. Lorenz Regional Park.
  • Follow the road toward the East end of the park. The track is on the Left.
