Register Soon for the 2015 High Line Canal Race
Walk or run along the scenic and relatively flat High Line Canal Trail in the 34th annual High Line Canal Run on Saturday, May 9 in deKoevend Park.
The event features a 10K at 8 am and a 5K Run/Walk at 9 am, and is the third race in the 2015 South Suburban Race Series.
Children and friendly dogs welcome. Registration includes a pancake breakfast, Breckenridge Brewery beer for participants age 21 and older, a long sleeve race shirt, goody bag and prize drawings. Awards will be given to top male and female finishers in both the 10K and 5K race. Colorado Race Timing will be chip timing the event.
Race sponsors include the City of Centennial, Run Colorado, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Breckenridge Brewery, Whole Foods Market SouthGlenn and Plumbline Services.
Packet pickup on Wednesday, May 6, from 11 am - 1:30 pm at Whole Foods SouthGlenn and from 4-7 pm at Road Runner, Lone Tree. They'll also be available for pickup on Thursday, May 7, from 4-7 pm at Run Colorado, Greenwood Village. Race day packet pick-up will start at 6:30 am at deKoevend Park.
The day of the race participants are encouraged to park at the nearby South Suburban Ice Arena. Free parking also is available at Goodson Recreation Center, adjacent to the park.
The race is $35 for ages 15 and older and $25 for ages 14 and under. Register online on RunningGuru.com.
