Do you like to explore new ideas, discover new materials and bring your imagination to life? Then the Creativity Lab is the place for you! Our lab instructors offer guidance for creating your own masterpieces from a variety of art materials and found objects and visitors can let their creativity flow into any project in this space.

Our mission is to show how found objects can be transformed into beautiful works of art.
We offer all types of arts and crafts:
•  3D  and sculptural projects
•  Painting
•  Paper-crafts
•  Fabric and fiber crafts
•  Jewelry making
•  Sewing
•  Needle and yarn crafts

Looking for art activities for a large group or an art-themed party? Our multipurpose art room is available for hourly rental and includes instructor-led craft time for groups of 10 or more. For an additional fee, you can also rent a connected party room.

The Creativity Lab is FREE with admission to the Sheridan Recreation Center.
All ages are welcome. Children under 7 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
