From magical forests to spooky adventures, there’s something for everyone this fall at South Suburban. 

Superhero Party
Friday, Sept. 23   5 - 7 pm
Lone Tree Recreation Center
Calling all superheroes! Join us for a night of games, snacks, dancing and more. Come dressed as your favorite superhero, superhero duo or make up your own. Register here.

Movie Nights at Goodson Recreation Center
Sept. 9, Oct. 14 & Nov. 18
Goodson Recreation Center
Parents can take the night off while kids ages 3-12 enjoy a movie night, complete with pizza and popcorn. Register here.

Hole-O-Ween at Colorado Journey Mini Golf

Colorado Journey Mini Golf
Ghosts, fairies, witches, spiders and more are out to ensure your mini golf group has a frighteningly good time. Occurring throughout October*, Hole-O-Ween provides a fun experience for all visitors. Enjoy Halloween-themed holes and spooky kid-friendly decorations throughout the facility. Regular mini golf admission applies. More about Colorado Journey Mini Golf
*Colorado Journey Mini Golf will close at 7 pm on Halloween night, Monday, Oct. 31.

Enchanted Forest

South Platte Park
Our forests have been enchanted once again! Experience South Platte Park like never before at the annual Enchanted Forest event. Enjoy nature and wildlife along with the charm of fairies, Celtic music, performers and live birds of prey. Register here.

Pumpkin Plunge
Friday, Oct. 21   5 - 7 pm
Buck Recreation Center
Take a plunge to find your perfect pumpkin. Swimmers of all ages are invited to dive for pumpkins in the Buck Recreation Center pool, and turn them into spooky masterpieces at our decoration station. Register here.

Hoofin’ It Through the Hollows 5K Run
Saturday, Oct. 22   Pre-race costume contest starts at 5:15 pm

Runners beware, this race is scary fun! Join us for a Halloween celebration at the Hoofin' It Through the Hollows 5K. Dress to impress and participate in the pre-race costume contest, then stick around for the post-race beer garden and s’mores. Register here.

Trick-or-Treat Trail
Saturday, Oct. 22   3 - 5 pm
deKoevend Park
Dress up and bring a bag to collect goodies at the Trick-or-Treat Trail! Children ages 10 and under can enjoy activities at this fun and festive event, formerly called the Fall Festival. The event takes place at deKoevend Park before the Hoofin' It Through the Hollows 5K Run and is sponsored by the City of Centennial. Register here.

Drop-In Spooky Skate Events
Saturday, Oct. 29   1 - 3 pm or 12 - 2 pm
Family Sports Center & South Suburban Sports Complex
Dress up and drop by the Family Sports Center from 1 - 3 pm or the Sports Complex from 12 - 2 pm for ice skating to kid-friendly tunes, a costume contest for fun prizes, and sweet treats. Registration not required.
