Kick Off 2026 With South Suburban Activity Challenges

Dec 17 2025

Calling all fitness and New Year’s resolution enthusiasts! Are you up for a challenge? How about two?! South Suburban is offering two January challenges, Blast Off Bingo and Hydro Hustle, to help you build momentum in your 2026 fitness routine while having fun and competing for prizes along the way.

Blast Off Bingo
Launch into the new year with Blast Off Bingo, our January fitness challenge. Every activity you complete propels you closer to prizes. Grab your bingo card from Buck, Goodson, or Lone Tree Recreation Center, fuel up your engines, and get ready for a month-long mission of movement and fun!

of movement and fun!

The Rules

  • Each Recreation Center has its own unique bingo card.
  • Limit one bingo card per person, per location, for the entire month.
  • Complete the activity in a square and have it initialed and dated in the space provided.
  • Each completed square must be initialed by an instructor, front desk staff member, or coordinator.
  • If a square includes multiple tasks, get an initial for each item completed.
  • A “Bingo” is achieved by completing five consecutive squares in a row—across, down, or diagonally.
  • You may complete as many lines as you’d like throughout January; each completed line earns one entry into the prize drawing.
  • Maximum of five entries per person. One completed line = one entry; a full blackout = five entries.

Hydro Hustle
Join our January swim challenge and hustle to swim or walk as many laps as you can in January! Take the plunge at any of South Suburban’s three indoor pools to get started.

  • Get your Hydro Hustle Challenge card from a lifeguard or pool manager.
  • Fill all of the boxes on the card.
  • Complete as many cards as you can.
  • Completed cards will be entered into a prize drawing!

  • Lap Swimmers/Walkers
    • 20 laps = 1 box completed
    • 1 lap in the pool is once down and once back
  • Current Channel Walkers

    • 1 lap in the current channel is a full circle in the channel (regardless of direction)

Additional rules:
