Calling all green thumbs! South Suburban is seeking gardeners of all experience levels to join us for our Annual Rose Pruning Workshop at the War Memorial Rose Garden on April 25. The workshop is a great way to make friends and give back to your community while learning and practicing rose pruning techniques. The event is free, but registration is required.

Volunteers can also help the garden continue to thrive throughout the year by attending weekly Maintenance Mornings. On Saturdays from April-October, drop by to help pull weeds and tend to the flower beds. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just enjoy being outdoors, your time and effort will make a big difference!
