Music on the Patio

Weekends

Littleton, Lone Tree, and South Suburban Golf Courses

You’re invited to Music on the Patio every weekend at the Lone Tree Golf Club & Hotel and the South Suburban Golf Course this summer! Experience music from local bands along with weekly food and beverage specials all summer long. Plus, enjoy a one-night-only event at Littleton Golf and Tennis on June 20. Free Yoga in the Park

Various Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Belvedere Park; Hudson Gardens

Take a breath of fresh air at free outdoor yoga classes! Bring your own mat to practice and unwind in the great outdoors. These programs are free, but reservations at register.ssprd.org are strongly encouraged.

 

Sheridan Family Fun Nights

Third Fridays June-September

Sheridan Recreation Center

Family Fun Nights at Sheridan Rec Center are free, open to the public, and packed with fun for all ages! Each evening includes featured activities, plus access to the gym, Creativity Lab, pool table, air hockey, and foosball. Complimentary food and snacks will also be available. Route 66 Fitness Challenge

June 1 – Aug. 31

Make every mile count with the Get Your Kicks: Route 66 Fitness Challenge this summer! From June 1-Aug. 31, track your miles while staying active at South Suburban trails, parks, facilities, and pools. All participants will earn a commemorative medal, and the top 10 mileage leaders will take home an exclusive challenge t-shirt. Learn more and register for the challenge.

 

Summer Beats Concerts

June 16 and July 7

Prairie Sky Park

Bring the whole family to Lone Tree for an evening of food, dancing, and kids crafts! Female rock trio Red Rock Vixens will take the stage on June 16, and Steve Thomas Band will perform 80s cover songs on July 7. Learn more.

 

Movies on the Green

June 13, July 25, Aug. 22

South Suburban Golf Course

Grab your picnic blankets and enjoy free, family-friendly movies on the green at South Suburban Golf Course. Featured movies include Boss Baby, The Secret Life of Pets, and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. Guests are encouraged to arrive at 8:30 pm to settle in before the movie begins at dusk. Food and beverages will be available for purchase on-site. Learn more.

 

Touch-a-Truck

June 27, 2-4 pm

South Suburban Sports Dome

Bring the whole family to explore a variety of big trucks and specialty vehicles from 2-4 pm. Kids can climb, honk, and discover their favorite vehicles while meeting the people who operate them, including local heroes from public safety, construction, and more. Learn more.

 

TRYathlon

Goodson Recreation Center; Cook Creek Pool

Swim, bike, and run for fun! This is the perfect starting point to try a triathlon. These races are about completion, not competition, and are designed for those interested in a recreational triathlon experience regardless of athletic ability. Learn more and register.

 

Red, White & ROCK!

July 3, 5-9:30 pm

Hudson Gardens & Event Center

Don't miss the third annual Red, White & ROCK! celebration at Hudson Gardens on July 3. Celebrate America’s 250th and Colorado’s 150th anniversaries with activities for all ages, live music from Ninety Percent 90s and The Spazmatics, fireworks, and festive fun! Purchase tickets.

 

Independence Day Celebration

July 4, 5-10 pm

Cornerstone Park

This annual event brings together friends and families from Englewood, Littleton, Sheridan, Arapahoe County, and South Suburban to celebrate the Fourth of July. The event runs from 5-10 pm, with the fireworks show starting at 9:15 pm. Learn more.

 

Islands in Motion: A Polynesian Luau Experience

One of last summer’s most popular Hudson Gardens events returns! Enjoy Kalama Polynesian Dancers, live drumming, a fire knife dance finale, island-inspired food, lei-making, crafts, shave ice, tropical drinks, and live music from Kalacoa. Purchase tickets.

Western Welcome Week Gold Panning

South Platte Park

Pan for gold in the South Platte River just like people did during the Colorado Gold Rush, and take home your bounty! This family-friendly event, which is part of Western Welcome Week, will also offer additional activities at the Carson Nature Center. Learn more and register.

Pancake Stampede

Hudson Gardens & Event Center

Work up an appetite for a deluxe breakfast at the Pancake Stampede 5K! The race takes place on the Mary Carter Greenway along the South Platte River and is part of Littleton’s Western Welcome Week celebration. Learn more and register.

Chris Janson at Hudson Gardens

Hudson Gardens & Event Center

Multi-platinum country artist Chris Janson is bringing his chart-topping hits to Hudson Gardens on Sunday, Aug. 9 in partnership with Western Welcome Week. Bring your lawn chairs, grab your friends, and get ready to sing along to fan favorites “Buy Me A Boat,” “Fix A Drink,” “Done,” and “Good Vibes.” Purchase tickets.

Bluffs 8K Trail Run

Bluffs Regional Park

Challenge yourself to a tough 8K race with breathtaking views at the Bluffs Regional Park in Lone Tree. The course is fine crushed gravel with some rugged, steep areas along the route. Learn more about the race (registration opens soon).
