Free Chipping & Mulch Event

Free Chipping & Mulch Event

Aug 30 2019

Fall is a great time to tackle yard work and prune your landscaping. After all that cleanup, bring your pruned and discarded branches and bushes to the South Suburban and City of Centennial's free Chipping and Mulch Event on Saturday, September 14, from 8 a.m. to noon.

The following items will not be accepted:

Logs or tree trunks larger than 10 inches in diameter, and lumber or salvage material.

There are two locations to drop off your cuttings:

  • South Suburban's Willow Spring Service Center,  7100 South Holly Street, Centennial 80112
  • Centennial Public Works Facility, 7272 South Eagle Street, Centennial 80112

Free mulch is available at the Willow Spring location throughout the event. Mulch will be available at the Centennial Public Works location starting at noon. It's self-service, so bring a tarp and shovel for your free mulch.

For more information, contact City of Centennial's Citizen Response Center at 303.325.8000.
