South Suburban Public Art Committee: Applications Open Now
The South Suburban Public Art Committee invites interested community members to apply to serve as at-large members. The committee is an appointed volunteer body that offers an informed opinion to the Board of Directors regarding art in public places. Committee members must live within the District, attend monthly meetings, and be able to serve a minimum three-year term.

2026 Art on Loan Applications Open Now
Attention artists! Show off your work and bring art to community spaces with South Suburban’s Art on Loan program. Local artists are invited to apply for the 2026 program by Jan. 6, 2026.
Selected sculptures will be displayed at Goodson Recreation Center or Hudson Gardens for a year, and artists will receive a $1,000 honorarium for their display. The sculptures are selected by the South Suburban Public Art Committee through a competitive process and approved by the South Suburban Board of Directors. Learn more and apply here.
