Littleton Golf & Tennis Receives 2024 USTA Outstanding Facility Award

South Suburban hosts both junior and adult tournaments. Below are the remaining USTA tournaments we will be hosting in 2026:

• Summer Challenger Junior Tennis Tournament  (Boys | Girls: 12s, 14s, 16s Singles) | May 27 - 28
• Junior Open Junior Tennis Tournament (Boys | Girls: 14s, 16, 18s) | July 10 - 12

ROGY PROGRESSION PROGRAM

• Red ball (5-7 yrs) on a mini court
• Orange ball (7-10 yrs) | Level 1 (BEG) & Level 2 (INT) on a short court
• Green ball (11-14 yrs) | Level 1 (BEG), Level 2 (INT)
• Green ball Match Play (12-18 yrs) | Intermediate - Advanced - Summer Only

TEENS NEW TO TENNIS

• Jr Quick Start (12+ yrs) Designed for older juniors who have limited or no tennis experience. 

ACADEMY PROGRAM

• Intro to Pre-Academy (Intermediate): This is for youth players transitioning out of green ball and into full-court yellow ball play. The best option before moving to Pre-Academy. 
• Match Play Pre-Academy (Intermediate): This hybrid program combines a teaching court along with separate courts for coached match play. A great opportunity for intermediate players to gain match experience outside of tournaments. 
• Pre-Academy (Intermediate-Advanced): This is for youth players who are moving up quickly. Participation in Intro to Pre-Academy preferred and ideally prior ROGY orange and green ball classes. Focuses on strokes, skills, game strategies and tactics for advancing into tournaments and Jr/Sr High teams. Designed for progression into Elite Academy.
• Academy (Elite): This class is designed for competitive tournament players and High Level JV and Varsity players with experienced match play. Live ball play is used in coordination with strategy development and improvement of stroke, spin, speed, and depth of ball for execution in play. Advancement into Academy requires Pre-Academy and authorization of Pros. All potential participants must go onto the waitlist and a 24-hour link will be emailed to account on file for acceptance/payment once approved by Pros.
• Academy Programming - shows all programming at the Academy level.

Adult Tennis Classes - South Suburban offers programs for all levels of play. If you are brand new to the sport take a look at our Adult Quick Start programs and then advance through our NTRP rated class offerings. If you need a little cardio we have that as well. We offer a variety of opportunities for league play including In-House, USTA and CTA.  

Block Time 2026/27 Session

This program offers 1.5 hour time slots for groups to coordinate their own play. We do not allow lessons unless provided by an SSPR contracted Pro. 

Changes for Application and Selection: To align with evolving community needs, the following adjustments will be implemented, impacting the total number of available slots.

• Remove Tuesday and Thursay slots from 4-7pm to support the expansion of youth programming.
• Minimally modify morning and mid-day court usage to support rising adult class participation and growth of the game.

Application Process: As in prior years we will have a short time-frame for priority applicants. Only the 2025/26 SPOC (single point of contact) may apply during the priority time frame. All other interested groups must utilize the waitlist form that will open when the priority application closes. The application link will only be available on this website in accordance with the dates/times below. 

• June 15 | 9am - priority application opens
• June 19 | 5pm - priority application closes and waitlist application opens
• June 22-30 - review, placement, and confirmation sent by tennis staff 
• Aug 3 - payment #1 due (link will be emailed)
• Dec 1 - payment #2 due for second half of session

First Half Session
